What we collect — and what we don't.
This is where we explain what happens to your information when you contact us through knacklv.com or book a visit. We've kept it short and in plain words, the way we'd want it explained to us.
What we collect
When you fill out our intake form, you give us your name, a way to reach you (phone, email, or both), and whatever you choose to tell us about what's going on. The other fields — your area, your timing, how you'd prefer to be contacted — are optional and only there to help us serve you better.
When you book a Diagnostic Visit through the Stripe button, Stripe handles your payment directly. We see that the visit was booked and your contact details; we never see your card number.
When you visit any page on the site, your browser sends along your IP address and the kind of browser you're using. We log these briefly so we can keep automated bots out of the contact form. We do not track you across other sites and we do not use advertising cookies.
What we do with it
We use your contact information to get back to you about your request. That's it.
To make the email-and-payments side of the website work, we use a small number of services that act on our behalf:
- Resend delivers the email from your contact-form submission to our inbox.
- Stripe processes your payment when you book a Diagnostic Visit.
- Cloudflare hosts the website and, where enabled, provides privacy-friendly traffic analytics that use no cookies.
- Google Workspace is where we read and reply to your email.
Each of these has its own privacy policy and handles your data on our behalf, not theirs.
What we don't do
We don't sell your information. Ever. We don't share it with anyone outside the services above. We don't profile you, target you with ads, or send you marketing emails you didn't ask for.
And — this one's a Knack promise, not just a website thing — we never keep your passwords. If we help you sign in during a visit, your credentials stay yours. Nothing is stored, copied, or taken with us when we leave.
How long we keep it
We hold on to your contact information for as long as you're a Knack client, plus a reasonable time after, so that we can serve you again if you come back. Form submissions sit in our inbox the same way any business email would. If you'd like us to delete what we have on you, just ask.
Your data, your call
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what we have on you.
- Correct anything that's wrong.
- Delete it.
